Solubility of Potassium Formate

The water solubility of both solid and liquid potassium formate is excellent and can be dissolved with any proportion of water. And the use of solid potassium formate is relatively wide, especially applied in high-density drilling completion fluid system, which has achieved very good results. The drilling fluid system formulated with potassium formate has a strong ability to inhibit the hydration and dispersion expansion of clay and does not run slurry, and is characterized by strong inhibition, good water loss walling, good lubrication, fast mechanical drilling speed, low cost and significant economic benefits.

Liquid potassium formate is colorless transparent liquid (like pure water). It has high content of potassium oxide, very high solubility in water (ten times or even dozens of times of other potash fertilizers), high absorption and utilization rate, and does not contain chlorine ions, and it is a kind of liquid potash fertilizers with high content of potassium used in the country at present.
